🧭 Begin Your Journey
A gentle first step toward clarity, safety, and support.
You don't have to have everything figured out. This space is designed to help you pause, breathe, and take your next best step — at your own pace.

A Gentle Reminder: You are not weak. You are not overreacting. And you are not alone.
🌿 Start With Reflection
A quiet moment to pause and check in with yourself.
This is a gentle space to reflect. There are no right or wrong answers, and you don't need to decide anything today. Simply notice what feels true for you right now.
Emotional Check-In
  • How do I feel most of the time?

  • Do I feel safe being myself?
  • What emotion shows up most often for me lately?
  • What feels heavy or confusing right now?
Body & Stress Awareness
  • Do I feel tense, on edge, or exhausted often?
  • Do I feel relief when I'm away from this situation?
  • Have my sleep, appetite, or energy changed?
  • Does my body feel safe right now?
Boundaries & Respect
  • When I say no, is it respected?
  • Do I feel pressure to explain or justify my needs?
  • Can I express concerns without fear?
Name Your Truth
Finish this sentence (silently or on paper):
Right now, what I need most is ____________________.

A Gentle Reminder: Whatever you're feeling is valid. Awareness is a strength, not a weakness. You are allowed to move slowly and choose what feels safest for you.

⚠️ If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

1) Safety First (Right Now)
  • Are you safe where you are right now?
  • If not, can you move to a room with an exit, a neighbor's home, or a public place?
  • If you need support right now, call a trusted person and stay on the phone.

2) Quick Grounding (30 seconds)
  • Take 3 slow breaths.
  • Name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can feel, 3 things you can hear.
  • Remind yourself: "I deserve to be safe. I am taking one step at a time."

3) Trust Your Body (Check-In)
  • Do you feel afraid, controlled, or constantly on edge?
  • Do you feel like you must "walk on eggshells" to keep the peace?
  • Do you feel smaller, quieter, or less like yourself?

4) Red Flag Snapshot
  • Threats (to you, children, pets, family, or themselves)
  • Isolation (monitoring your phone, limiting who you see)
  • Control (money, transportation, work, clothing, social media)
  • Escalation (more frequent or intense intimidation)
  • Physical harm or forced sexual activity

5) One Small Step (Choose One)
  • Text/call a trusted person using a simple code word.
  • Put important items in a discreet bag (ID, keys, meds, cash).
  • Save a hotline number under a neutral name.
  • Write down one safe place you can go if you need to leave quickly.
